PWR’s heat exchanger module for the 2007–2014 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is engineered to significantly reduce intake air temperatures and combat the heat soak commonly experienced in supercharged applications. Manufactured entirely in-house at our USA facility, this system utilizes PWR’s advanced aluminum core technology to deliver superior heat rejection compared to factory heat exchangers, helping maintain consistent power and performance.

Dual high-performance SPAL fans come pre-installed to actively pull cool air through the heat exchanger core, improving cooling efficiency during low-speed driving, staging lanes, or hot weather conditions. These fans draw up to 10 amps each and work with the vehicle’s ECM-controlled cooling system, activating alongside the electric intercooler pump when the key is turned on. Lower intake air temperatures help increase horsepower and torque while preventing the engine from entering power-reducing limp modes caused by excessive heat.

Two configurations are available to support different performance levels. The standard module is recommended for vehicles producing up to approximately 650 horsepower and provides a substantial improvement in heat management over the factory system. For higher output builds, PWR also offers a tall heat exchanger configuration originally developed for the 1000 horsepower Shelby Super Snake. This version provides increased cooling capacity and is recommended for vehicles producing 700+ horsepower or operating in hot climates.

Designed for direct OE-style installation, this module bolts directly into any 2005–2014 Mustang GT, GT350, or GT500 using factory mounting locations. The system includes all required hoses, relays, and hardware to simplify installation while maintaining factory integration.
